Helping serve American heroes – our veterans – has been a #1 goal of Safe America. And, through our ‘VET Tran’ program, we have offered disabled military veterans a ride to medical care. Now as we plan the re-launch of VET Tran, Knights of Columbus in Georgia have offered help. And, United Military Care has also ‘stepped up’ to partner.
A preliminary meeting was held recently… with a review on how to relaunch in spite of the continued COVID concerns. “We appreciate Knights of Columbus – and leaders Mark McMullen, Chris McHugh and Roger Heil – starting to recruit Knights to help drive veterans,” noted Safe America CEO Len Pagano. “We appreciate our supporters – like Primerica, Enterprise and AMR – who have also joined in. We’ll work hard to get things going – to make it easier to get veterans to health care this next year.”
