Thanks to the WellStar Health System, Safe America is opening its new national headquarters in Atlanta! The 3,200 square feet office space is now moved into, with staff adding some ‘finishing touches’ this weekend.
“We really are ecstatic,” noted CEO Len Pagano. “We appreciate the work that Kim Ryan (our Chair) did to help get us more space that we’ll use for expanded programs to address medical issues such as sports and brain traumas, Opioid addiction, human trafficking and PTSD (of veterans).”
As the new space is settled in, Pagano noted that an ‘open house’ will be held for Board of Directors and volunteers this fall.
“We look forward to letting all supporters see our new space – as well as some new staff. Our goal of doing ‘serious good work’ is enhanced thanks to the new space we’ve been offered.”
The new suite – on the 4th floor of Building 315 – is located on Boulevard Drive near the John Lewis/Freedom Parkway. Watch for more visuals as new graphic artist Leslie Morris makes the walls ‘visual stories’ of Safe America’s mission, history and achievements.
Thanks to Good360 CEO Howard Sherman and furniture company, William-Sonoma, for their support. It included new sofas and chairs that will be used in rooms to counsel veterans and others who have been victims of issues such as human trafficking.
