Safe America’s new Safety Zone kiosk at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Int’l Airport has been gathering growing attendees this month. Over the past two weeks, more than 100 travelers have stopped by and filled out a survey asking ‘what worries you the most: disasters, active shooters, distracted driving, the Opioid Crisis or human trafficking?’
This and a series of other questions will be tabulated in a year-end report shared with the City of Atlanta, the UPS Foundation and Columbia University. The report will be used in the 2019 ‘BE Safe America’ program. Ford, UPS, 100 Black Men, Clayton County plus Dixie Pre-Cast and Operation LifeSaver are among for-profits and non-profits supporting the ‘Safety Zone’ kiosk which will be staffed through the February 3 Super Bowl in Atlanta (being held at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium).
